newb ( kind of ) intros
« on: July 04, 2008 - 10:39:33 PM »
 Hello all
I have been a member since January 29 ,2005 but have never introduced myself . I am not real good on the computer my skills are kind of weak so I have not posted much at all over the years. Mainly just an occasional reply to a forum . I log in on the site every night and read all the new post of the day whose titles spark an interest to me.
I try to answer a guestion for a member ( if I am confidant of the answer ) if it sits awhile unanswered .Wish I was better on the computer and could put up pictures to help others if I have the info available.
There are several members on this site that really stand out to me although I have never had the pleasure of meeting them they seem like real upstanding people who are genuinely trying to help others and I greatly respect that .
One of them is the reason I am finally introducing myself . Through their comments I feel more participation from all of us could benefit the hobby.
I own several  cudas and have for 20 + years . I am one of the owners most people dislike because all my cars are great projects that my job/life will not seem to allow me to get to. But I  always say not for sale  . But they are all garage kept and have been for years while I continue to collect parts ect for them.
Sorry this is so long I guess after 5 years here a do have a little to say .
Finally I would like to thank Barry Washington (and his guys ) by name I have emailed him questions in the past. Despite what I am sure is a busy schudule he has always found time to reply . It was been very helpful and I hope someday to return the favor.
     Thanks I enjoy the site
     aarcuda33

Welcome!  Glad you've finally introduced yourself.  If you've been lurking that long, you already know what a great site this is and we hope that someone with as much experience as you probably have will become a more involved member.  As far as posting pics, the WELCOME message pinned to the top of the  :newbie: page has an FAQ and the very first entry details how to add pics:  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=17741.0  If that doesn't work out, you can e-mail them to me or HemiKen or 4C (Yes, I just volunteered you guys! ) and we'll post them for you.

Reading here on the site is great but it always feels better when you get involved with posts and information. We would all like to hear about your collection of Mopar Cudas and yes we would love to see pictures of all your Mopar cars.

An old overdue welcome that is!! It seems by what you've said that you've discovered the CC.com family here. There's always room for more! Don't be a stranger. Jump in and don't be afraid to ask questions. We're glad to help out!! I take it you have an AAR Cuda?? Tell us more. I'm a little weak on compuer skills, but there's folks here (as stated) that can help you with posting pics. Glad you made your intro. Now you're not a stranger, so start posting!! :ylsuper:

Thanks for the warm welcome !
moparmaniac59 you are very perceptive  (1) of my cars is a 70 AAR CUDA and to answer hemikens question ( which I would have ask also ) I also have a (2) 1973 barracuda it is FY1 yellow , (3) a second 73 barracuda I bought in 1986 as a graduation gift for myself , (4) a 1971 340 cuda factory N96 and GY3 all are very solid projects three are almost rust free.
And moparal no need to beware of me I am not here to sell parts or make any money  (let alone a living ) off the hobby . Those who jump on just to sell usually at record prices make me leary too. Please understand that you Al are one of those I have grown to respect through your posts and willingness to help others without concern for personal gain !
As for pics of my cars I will try , it will be a learning - cussing experience .

I was not refering to you my friend, The ones that I scout for are not as casual speaking as you. Sorry if I look as though I may seem like the mean type in online print, I really am not. But I will try my best to eliminate any wrong doing potential if it is forseable.

Some members here consider cc.c a big playroom for ebody toys. And have blinders on when it comes to an internet predator. I do what I can to keep the sharp objects out of the playroom
