newbie from Western NY
« on: July 06, 2008 - 10:11:21 PM »
Hello all, just read about your website in an article from Mopar muscle this month about the 73 cuda project which was a nice read! So I decided to check it out and it looks good, just need to spend time on it.
Anyway, I have a 67 Barracuda Formula S Coupe 383 4-speed which is blue with redlines and have owned it for the last 22 years and have been showing it for almost as long. I also have a 72 Cuda 340 rallye red 4-speed with only 28,000 miles which I bought from the original owner 28 years ago. This car is in excellant condition with no winters stored inside but needs a restoration which so far I can`t seem to get to and may never get to!!!! I also have a57 dodge truck with an original pushbutton automatic which will be my next project very soon.
In my past I had a 70 barracuda slant six car for an everyday driver which I drove into the ground and before that as a senior in High school had a 71 cuda 340 4-speed as an everyday driver which I still kick myself for selling!
I`m located in Western NY straight south of Rochester......Jim

I know, I know no pics just does not cut it. I really don`t have any pics of the 72 Cuda as in 28 years I have never put it on the road and it`s apart right now waiting for time and money!!!! So not worth the pics.
As far as the 67 Barracuda, you probably have seen it,just don`t remember. It was in Automobile Quarterly,Mopar Muscle,Musclecars, and Car Craft over the last 20 years at different times.By the way if you have not seen Automobile Quarterly issue 25, #4 then you cuda fans really need to look at it. Very nice article and pics on the 64 to 74 Barracudas and Cudas. I also have had the car at many many of the carlilse and nats shows. Eventually I will post a pic here!

Even a work in progress (or not in progress as it may be) is worth a picture. I really wish I had taken more of mine in the various stages of my  :working:
