It looks like it just got the side of the truck, luckily.  What a poorly designed canopy.

I'd just be sick.  For days.  It could definitely happen to most of us.  Me anyways.   :walkaway:

Yikes , I am not os sure he walked away from that one you can see the truck frame bend , the driver had to be hurt , I agree though the canopy was poorly designed too

:iagree:   :scared:  Ouch!  That must've been scary for that guy!  Hope he walked away from that one.

I'm with Steve.  If I didn't usually drive around with a trailer it would be easy for me to forget how tall that thing is.  I once had one of those car top carriers on top of the mini van and scraped the top of it going into a parking garage forgetting it was there.  :bricks1:

:iagree:  After the "Oh crap!" initial reaction, that was my second thought.  Seemed like a stiff breeze would have blown it down.

You can tell that the trailer hit the very far corner of the overhang for that maximum effect.  Also, that ATM drive through looks really old.  Like it was built in '73 with it's fake brick vaneer on the posts so it was probably not that strong to begin with.

Just a good reminder to those of us who have big trucks and pull big loads.  Respect the rig!!!
:bricks1: I'm sure that guy figured he was gonna make it right up to the point the roof squished him.... :bricks1:
