Hello from Alabama
« on: July 11, 2008 - 01:10:38 PM »
This is my first post here, so hello all.  I am currently restoring a 68 cuda, numbers matching 318 A/C car.  I bought it in Jan of 08 and am doing 99% of the work myself. I have never restored a car before and I don't know much about them to be honest.   :working:  I have started welding and fabricating.  I am also sandblasting too.   :wow: I have a web site dedicated to my car: http://1968cuda.googlepages.com/

I will try to post some pics here

now that I know the pics work here are some more. One is of the car with the fenders on top, that is how she looked about 2 weeks ago.  Another is of the fabricated front passenger fender.  I had to fabricate the part that is behind the headlight (right side fender in the pic).  Another pic is of the gutted interior.  Another is of the repair work done on the underside of the hood.  I have tons more at my website.

Welcome to the site.  For someone who professes not to know much about cars, it looks like you're off to a good start.  What you don't know, someone here on the site will be glad to help you with - including a couple of our Alabama members.  I recommend you start a restoration thread to show us your progress.

  Hello Carl and welcome to the site.  It's always good to see another Mopar getting a second chance at life.  I wanted to see your pictures but I couldn't get your link to work.
