Modern MoPar Owners - SCT Tuners
« on: July 11, 2008 - 09:33:48 PM »
Hi guys,

I know most may have heard of the SCT XCalibrator 2 tuner, I'm just here to let you know they are bloody great machines!!! I got one for m 06 RC NR SRT/10 and ordered mine from Roe Racing.com. Sean there is an expert an tuning them for your specific car, area and fuel. You get 3 tunes for 3 different fuels. I have 91, 93 and 95. In NZ our 95 = US 90/91, our 98 = US 93. You plug in the SCT tuner to your vehicles on board plug and follow the on screen instructions, load in what ever tune you want and continue to follow the instructions (dead easy).

It's so versatile it also allows the user to diagnose check engine lights and clear trouble codes. Your factory tune will never be lost either as the XCalibrator 2 stores it so if you ever choose to go back to the factory settings, you plug it in and select stock/default. So, you get 3 tunes and there is always 1 for returning to stock (for dealer trips if you are still under warranty). There is NO WAY of them knowing, it can not be traced and the system is safe, just make sure you do you homework on the tuner. Available for: 300C, Chargers, Jeeps, Challengers, SRT8, SRT10, basically any modern MoPar. Seat of the pants is where it's at, better response, better power, "crisper", just runs so much better, almost unreal for a plug in mod.

Another bonus, new tunes can be emailed, buy a SC or more mods? No worries, download your new tune via email using the USB cable provided. It's something you can re-use over and over again. Increased MPG, better cooling running vehicle and increased power, dyno results have shown up to 25 rear wheel horsepower and 36 rear wheel torque. It's never been this easy and inexpensive, plug in and play power. Just emailing them your vehicle model and year, performance mods (headers, exhaust, CAI, etc). Your altitude, average winter/summer temps and the fuel in your area. Thinking about it, factory trucks are made for the mass so they are built to run for the "average" locations and settings. This unit allows you to run your truck 100% for you and your conditions.

Two thumbs up from me.  :2thumbs:
