 I have a Mopar electronic conversion kit I bought in 1990 and have never used it.I now need one so is it the same as they sell today or have they been upgraded?

I am almost positive that they have been updated but I do not know the particulars. It doesnt really matter as it should be fine to use.

I think you are fine.   

  In fact, the newer orange ignition boxe's are being made in China, so you are better off.

I am probably going to have to get a wiring harness for my car but the biggest detractor of the harness you are interested in to me is the lack of the stock bulkhead connector. I just want to plug and play if you know what I mean.

 Hopefully I don't have to change the wiring to do this,I figured only a few wires

basically 1 blue wire to 12v switched power  & the - coil wire
