East County Cruisers at Simpson's Nursery 7/13/08
« on: July 14, 2008 - 01:34:37 AM »
While Carlisle was a little far away for us this year, my son and I were able to take in a car show this week.

One of the best-known local car people are the owners of a local nursery, Simpson's Garden Town Nursery: http://www.simpsonsnursery.com.  What makes it the nursery particularly interesting is that they have a fairly good sized collection of restored antique and classic cars sheltered in a couple of barns and a collection of unrestored pickups and antique travel trailers throughout the 20 acre site.  They're also known for hosting several car shows through out the year.  This week, they hosted the East County Cruisers and about 125 cars of all makes and models showed up.

These first photos are of some of the Mopars at the show.  Enjoy!

Some trucks.  The Crew Cab I've shown before.  The rusty truck is somewhat representative of what's scattered through the property, but in worse shape than the other trucks.  The blue one is numbers-matching.

Here are some of the Mopars they have in the private collection.  The collection is free to the public anytime the nursery is open, but mind the sign.  :angelwings:

A few hot rods.  That's a blown and injected 392 Hemi in that red '32 roadster.  The twin-turbo T-bucket is for sale.

Last but not least, some of the vintage travel trailers.  None of them are restored on the outside, but the ones that are open are mostly still nice inside.
