So your going to completely rebuild the Cuda and buy a Viper? Wow, I think I need to get a job with a utilities company.
Take a 110% increase in pay and see what ideas it gives ya.
Honestly though, the only frivolous purchase I've made since taking this new job was my wife's new Wii. Now we're just paying off bills. Cleared off another card last week and am paying off her car on August 1st. So yes, buy the Viper then build the 'Cuda - that's the plan.
Well, depending on the year, yes, they are around two inches narrower and are still 8.75 rears. Will allow you to put a 10" wheel and up to a 315 tire in the fender well easily.
That's what I figured. I really don't want that big a tire though. I'm still building this thing to be a cruiser, not a drag-strip car, and whereas I wanna get good hookup, I also wanna be able to roast some rubber now and again!
And for what it's worth, I did a prelim budget on Friday and now it looks like the 'Cuda isn't really going to get crankin' until 2011. I gotta get the Viper first - they're about to get expensive if/when Cerberus cans production. Mopar parts will always be available. As long as they don't keep getting arrested at Carlisle shows!
