WIW? Two scoop 'cuda hood.
« on: July 20, 2008 - 08:08:55 AM »
Two scoop 'cuda rallye hood in great shape. Probably a 9 out of 10 shape. has the scoop bezels and black center pieces that go in there. No dents or anything, just needs to be sanded and painted. Maybe the tiniest amount of filler for a ping/ding or two.

How much?

With all that big contractor you could buy mine and I could put the money toward MY AAR hood!
If you drive down to get the hood, I'll throw the 71 Dodge p/u in for free too!

I do have an original (at least I believe it is) AAR hood.  Once again it is not in perfect condition, I do not know what the valve of it is.  Maybe the experts here can help with that.  I can post pics if anyone is interested.  I also have original TA that needs MAJOR repair, hinge area is torn out (not by me).  I also have several flat hoods (not perfect either) if any one is still interested in them now that the new repo shaker hoods are out.  Would perfer not to ship.

See ya,

Here ya go, some pics.  The top is ok, one corner looks like it may of been repaired (see pic 4044).  The gray is just some primer overspray from another project.  The corners near the window are weak, but intact, probably from sitting on them over the 20+ years.  Now the underside frame work has repair work done to it, look are pics.  If you need more pics let me know.  No idea on price since it's not perfect.  I do need some stuff for my Challenger, like an RT hood, front / rear bumper and a complete 440 6-pack.  Just kidding about the engine.

SnowDog, is your aar hood got cracks in it where it flexes? And has it been repaired before?  How are the hood hinge areas?   And pm me a price if you think a regular type of medioker body man can make it right and fit on my car
