1970 Challenger Vert... rough!!! (SOLD)
« on: July 20, 2008 - 03:37:22 PM »
Hi All...I think i will have to part with my 70 Vert to fund the other projects i have.  It is originally FK5 Burnt Orange.  Its in rough shape, but has all the tough parts to find.  It has a rallye dash and a 3 speaker dash (the dash has no cracks and is in near perfect shape.)  All the parts are there for the vert top and set-up.  Has the rear seat.  Factory Cruise Control.  the engine is gone ....318. 904auto, 8 3/4 rear are there, Driver door doesnt close well as the lower side cowl piece is rotted where the lower hinge bolts in.  All the glass is there but the driver window has some scratches in it.  All the chrome around the windshield is there.  Front frame rails have been patched a bit.  Has some lousy sub frame connectors on it.  rear frame rails are rough...but AMD or Goodmark has replacements. No Fender tag and no broadcast sheet. Hoping to get $10,500....dont know? tell me what you guys think.....Can deliver to Columbus.  Car is located near Allentown, PA.

Another Vert that needs saving.   Looks like you just need a donor car and some new sheetmetal. What happened to the rear end? From what I know now, a side cowl and firewall to fix the door isn't too bad.

It has a rallye dash and a 3 speaker dash (the dash has no cracks and is in near perfect shape.)    Car is located near Allentown, PA.

Would you be willing to sell the car minus the rallye dash and perfect dash pad. I'm sure you could sell both items and do pretty well. I might be interested in the roller. I'm just outside of Philly in Delaware.

Also, is all the speed control stuff there? I would want that.

Luckily all of the rear end stuff is now available new.  I know what you mean about too much on your plate and knowing when to say "when".

Hi Tom
I am sure we could do something there without the dash pad and Rallye Dash.   :working:  And yes all the speed control parts are there I believe. The line to the control is there, the line from the control and the turn signal lever are all there.

Hi Rob
I am sure we could do something there regrding the dash pad and Rallye dash provided Tom takes the car...lol :poopoke: :stirpot:

Guys shoot me an email with phone numbers

Thanks!!  :2thumbs:

I was e-mailing you and realized that all 3 of my cars have A/C.  Your dash doesn't. Darn! Sorry if I jumped the gun but I need A/C vents.     What's in your orange car?

Is there really that many people who want vert dash pads?  Just wondering.

Knot0623, would you really be willing to seperate the car from it's dash and vin?

I might just be sticking my nose in someone else's business so I apologize for that.  Really I am just curious.?
