Triple digit temps today
« on: July 21, 2008 - 03:06:18 PM »
Man, 85% humidity and 103 degress today. I may just turn the A/C on in the shop, along with the fans.

Is the heat hitting your areas?

In Texas its been triple digits for over a month now.  Though I think we are due for a cool front later this week, its supposed to be in the upper 90's.

Low 80's, low humidity.  San Diego = PARADISE.  (until the Santa Ana's come in September/October and the hills catch fire.)

Well, I just got my shop down to paridise temps, but have to open the doors to go for a ride. My darn fan clutch went out on my car last night and wouldnt lock in. It is an original. So I just intalled a new thermal clutch and now's a good time since it is 103 degrees. It will be a good test for it

Well, I just went for 15 miles after warming it up. And the temp stayed 1/4 scale where it usually did before the fan clutch acted up. It had went up to 1/3 scale then on the gauge. I new something was wrong. I also found out my car WILL do 6200 rpms in 4th gear  Now it is ideling outside for a few minutes like I am in traffic, just to see if it tries any suprises on me. But I think I got it right.  I get electronic Ign for it tomorrow :2thumbs:

Welcome to 3 months ago Al    Not that we have to put up with the high humidity that often though  :eek4:  I played a round of golf once in Florida when it was over 100 with very high humidity. I was drenched by hole 3 and must have lost no telling how much water weight over that few hours.
