Had tank leak, ordered new one.  Found bondo holding up the rear valance panel, could use a new panel.  Or possibly fiberglass?   What do you think?   Front end is fiberglass, but not one piece, shopping for a one piece front end.

The seller told me that it was a 10 second quarter mile car!  I'm doubtfull, that is pretty fast isn't it?  Also said it has a 440 steel crank, 410 gear rear screw rear end (name brand possibly), some type of shift kit in a 3 speed torqe flight, hurst shifter of some type.

Please look at the pictures below and see if you can identify what type of shifter?  Also what is the red botton for, nitrous or reverse lock out?  It has a microlock on the front brake and no rear line.  I believe the rear gear is a 410, she wound tight quick.

Bought as a 'pro-street' race car, but I'd like to get some street use out of it and so am thinking about redoing the car with an eye toward being street legal.

Okay still learning the differences between forums and e-mails.  Here are more pictures.

Any kind soul who wants to explain how to resize the avatar.......also seems to be some way to actually insert the pictures into this, the text portion of the reply--is this possible?

  You got your hands full of fixin up all the tacky work that guy sold you on.  Your right, I just cant see a 10 sec car there. Maybe it's possible. Is the battery secure?  Where do you keep the vin on the car with no dash?  Looks like you got plenty of toy parts there to play with. I am sure you will be able to give the car some attention in the right areas and have a good runner there.

Well, it looks like it would be a blast to drive. But will probably take a bit of work to be streetable - depending on local laws anyway. I have to agree with Go-Fish: nice seats. What are they? Oh yeah - welcome aboard!

Guy's I wish I knew. About the seats as well as all the other things.  I'm gonna have my work cut out for me!

Well thats why I got the car, something to keep me busy. I have so many question for
the group. But first I should fix all the thing's that I know need work.

I am not sure even how long I'm suposed to stay on the neebie list,
should I post my car questions somewhere else? Or should I use one continous thread?
Will this move my post to the front of the list?If so how will the questions be seen, let alone be answerd?

This is the first list I've ever been on. The only reason I have gotten this far is my wife is highly computer literate.
