Service Manual for my 833 Rebuild.

 Decided to tackle the transmission this summer and was wondering if anyone can recommend a easy to follow-step by step service manual. Also parts suppliers and any other tips. Thanks

the factory service manula is where I learned to rebuild them
 there is a company out of the Portland area that has the brg kits available for approx $150, they come with gaskets as well
 you will need 2 types of snapring pliers , pin type & an expander for flat ring type
you also need some kind of tool / wood dowel or even heater hose to hold the brgs in place inside the countershaft while you install it into the case , I bought the Miller tool to do this

 Thanks for the information guys. Should be enough to get me started (or in trouble  :bricks1:).

 I had the bearings, syncos, and even the shift forks replace about 10,000 miles ago in an attempt to solve it popping out of second gear upon deceleration. Obviously that didn't fix the problem so now the plan is to replace all components related to this area.

 Looking through the factory service manual it appears 2nd gear along with the 1-2 clutch sleeve would be suspect. Any other ideas?

could be a shifter/rod adjustment issue

 Thanks for the suggestion. I am pretty sure it's correctly adjusted. The trans had been out a few times and the linkage set after each intallation. The detent sits positively also. It has always been a bit sticky on the 1-2 shift, so that makes me think the problem is internal.
