Winchester Grey??
« on: July 23, 2008 - 01:09:52 PM »
Any of you guys heard of a color Winchester Grey on a 71 Cuda?  I recently was told of such a color but have never heard or seen it.   :clueless:  If there is such a color and you have pics, please post. I need to further my education on these cars!

I used to really like it but it's a little dull or "bland" ie: "blah" for my tastes, rare and a good colour, just doesn't seem to pop. In the direct sunlight it is nice but any other time and it looks "flat", no shine. No offence to any owners of this color car, nothing personal. Here are the photos I have........

Wow. Some of those winchester grey photos almost look black and white because of the color of the car.  :dunno:

It is a very modern looking color, way ahead of its time I think.   This is a 340 4 speed with white interior I had a few years back.

Just want to say your car looks GREAT !!   Gold tones look awesome one these cars.

This was a pretty rare car I had about 8 years ago, 1 of 219 72 RR/GTX  numbers 440 4 speed Dana car.   I think it was called Majove Tan

My 2nd favorite color.

I really want the car with the front rubber bumper pictured above. Too bad it's got a non-matching motor. :(

It's such a great looking car though.

Anyone know if they made any rubber bumper shaker 4 speed Hemi cars in that color?

I don't think it was one of the colors you could get elastomerics on.

Tunisian Tan Looks great in person (kind of like Tiger Gold in Pontiac talk)   Especially with the black accent tail and billboard.
The first 'CUDA I ever drove was a Silver Frost Metallic. A great color because it almost matches the stock grille color in '73  and is similar to the Winchester Grey. The red in the grille and the black upper body stripe look awesome IMO and is my favorite combo in '73 like darkhawk's car  :2thumbs:
