I love that color. I would not hesitate to keep that color if it were original.

There were several shades of gray over the years. I think the 2 that were available in 70-71 were gunmetal gray and winchester gray if memory serves. One was darker than the other.

Light Gunmetal was the Dodge name and Winchester Gray was the Plymouth name for the same color. (GA4) There was a Darker gray that was not used on E-bodies.

True in the Plymouth line but in the Dodge line there were 2 Gunmetal gray colors one dark A8 and one light A4.  There is a dark gray in the 71 Plymouth line but its not named Gunmetal.

I'm with Don - I love that color.  If I decide to part with the Gold-Fish idea it'll be to go with some sort of a metallic gray/blue shade.  That color has a definite blue tone that I just love.

Jeff

P.S.  I only WISH that modern cars had the optional color palette that you guys had back in the 70's.  This nonsense of cars coming in 3 colors is bullplop...  We might as well make 'em like Henry Ford did - any color you want, as long as it's black.  Then again, I know 4Cruzin would be totally fine with that, wouldn't you, Dave?!
