    Do they make a fiberglass aar base

    I am planning on installing an AAR hood on my car. It has a 440 6pk engine in it. Does anyone make a repro glass breather section for the AAR - T/A  functional system?  I think the seal would squish down enough for the 440-6 . It really shouldn't be that much higher then a 340 right?  Anyone know?

    Al, do you mean the air cleaner base or the actual crank case breather....??  :popcorn:

    someone makes the air cleaner base in glass. I bought one as a low cost alternative when I owned my T/A. They are pretty rough and need a lot of finish work, but look good when done. I will post the info soon. They are also made in metal but much more expensive.

    I got the base for my project from Steve at hybrid fiberglass solutions.  He also makes the base to fit 4-barrel carbs.
