New here with 2008 Challenger
« on: July 26, 2008 - 11:15:00 AM »
Just wanted to say hi. I am active on a couple other Challenger Forums that cater more to the new car. Hope I am welcome here.

Just picked up a 2008 hemi orange Challenger last Friday. Lucky enough to be friends with a dealer so I did not get screwed on the pricing.

We also make stripe kits for current model Mustangs, Chargers, etc, and have been working on kits for the Challenger. Here are a couple pics of what I have done to it so far. The stripes are temporary, I have been changing them for test fits as we come up with new designs.

Thanks for having me..... Enjoy the pics, and we are looking for any suggestions on new designs.

Welcome to here! Those stripes look cool too. I think there is going to be a TON of aftermarket support for the new Challenger and that is a great thing. I think DAYTONA's car with that T/A stripe would look awesome.

Oh yes, you will probably get a TA order from DAYTONA. His car would look killer with a TA stripe. I think a TA hood is needed to really make it look right though.
Any new Challengers are welcome here anytime. 1st gen Barracudas even. No 2nd gen Challengers though. Remember those horrible Mitsubishi built Challengers?  :puke:

Welcome to the site and what a great looking Challenger. I like the stripes on the side and it would look great with a T/A hood.

Thanks for the welcomes guys.

Here is another stripe kit we just finished today... It is patterned from a '71 RT Stripe. We are making them plain, R/T, SE and SRT.

And a couple shots of the Pistol Grip Shift Handle...

Thanks again. the Pistol Grip was specially machined to fit the new car, but it uses OEM Mopar Wood Grip Inserts.

  Welcome, Autoguy!

Nice stuff your making!   Are you making a Pistol Grip for the manual trannies?  (Silly question but I had to ask...  :bricks1: )
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I did not make the Pistol Grip. I got it from a company in Florida.
