I just thought I'd post one of the many reasons I haven't been online lately.  I helped work on this car from noon on Saturday to 3:30 Sunday morning.  I'd say it was worth it. :P

And the last one.  If you look very carefully, you can see the blue pearl that was applied.  It really looks cool up close.
WSM, you're Challenger is much cooler with the pearl. ;) :P

That's a fine looking Camaro.  Any muscle car is worth saving.  Like the rest, I prefer Mopars, but I've owned my share of others and can appreciate any that are done right.  When ( if ) I get finished with my Challenger, it's on to the wife's 67 Firebird.  Of course, I'll probably find another Mopar before then and get in big trouble.  ;D

DF, here's the complete run down of what all has been done to this car.  It's of course a '69 Camaro with a two inch cowl induction hood, 12 bolt Posi w/3.08's, Borg Warner T-10 4-spd. transmission, 355 with DZ-302 "Camel Hump" 2.02"/1.60" heads that have been ported, polished, and undergone a three angle valve job.  This same car pulled 125 3/4 decibels thanks to the rather modified 355 with headers, three inch exhaust, and Dynomax Bullet mufflers. ;D
Some of you may remember a story I posted a while back about an idiot wannabe Ricer running into a friend's Camaro and nearly totaling out the driver's side front end.  Well, after a re-restoration and better quality work put forth, this is that same car.  I'd say it looks quite well considering what it looked like after the accident.
rChurch, Cuda, PG, and the rest all put it the correct way; muscle cars are all cool, but we all know our true Mopar muscle comes first. ;) 8)
Mike, actually he had the stripes painted first, then masked them off, and painted the car it's final stages of Bright White.  Another one of our friends from school did mostly all of the bodywork including the paint.  It was his first time using his new gun and also the first time he ever applied pearl.  I think everything turned out great considering a bunch of high school students did all the work on it. ;D :P 8)
Now that this very eventful weekend has come to an end, I think I'll be able to be online more often again. :)

I find this very hard to spit out, but,.....nice car, lol. And thanks for the compliment Street, but of cource it looks better, it's a Challenger, Mopar bud. I have an appreciation for American Iron Muscle, But only the Mopars moisten my eyes, just something special.
