brake control 08 Ram

Pink, My 08 Ram has the four flat connector and the seven round also. My seven round connector is mounted beside the rear license plate. Did your truck come with the towing package?

That makes me think it's there some where,like the pic I posted

No mine doesn't have it, only the 4-way, Dodge stated you have to order your truck with the seven way, unless it is a 2500.

The wiring harness Tactransam showed you can purchase, which I did, but I have 2 questions:

Doc 1 The wiring instructions state that for 03 and previous wire the violet wire to the black wire VT-BK (the harness has a violet wire) for 04 and beyond wire the WT-LG (white to light green?) how when the harness has a violet wire?

Doc 2 The blue wire comes in the cab (brake control wire) and hooks to what? the cab has a harness for the brake control unit to plug inmto, but I don't see where the blue wire hooks to.

I believe the blue wire goes right to your brake controller.

got it done last night, hooked up the trailer and everything is working good, now on to the nats next week.
