Wow- you guys are on it. I obviously got the SE part wrong. I must have gotten that from that other Chally forum- ooops.
Anyway my bad, it in fact is not an SE (since it apparently doesnt exist-but I did buy it with a vinyl top on it and had planned to put one on in turn. The VIN is JH23G1B175433 which tells me this: Body Type:   J  =  Challenger
Price Class:   H  =  High Body Type:   23  =  2 Door Hardtop Engine:   G  =  318 230HP 1-2BBL 8 CYL Year:   1  =  1971 Sequence Number: 175433  =  75433rd Vehical Built
...but not sure where to find out whether it SHOULD be vinyl.
This was my first car from over 14 years ago and I never really got into the all original resto thing. Rather it is a pretty badass somewhat close to done custom version of the baddest ass car ever made - The 71 Chally

I own a 71 challenger A78 Formal roof package 383 car.  Basically has all SE stuff without being named an SE.  Has small rear window , overhead console, vinyl roof, etc.  Only made 229 total A78 cars, so its pretty rare :)
Im sure even rarer with a big block.  Neat cars.  Mine is the only one ive seen in person.  Have seen a few others on the internet.

Well, that makes three on here.  The seller, supremist, and wally.   :cooldancing:
