I can' tell for sure but the pics on craigslist don't look like it has the small rear window. I think the seller may be confusing a vinyl roof with the SE roof option.

It doesn't have a small rear window or vinyl top.

Unlike the Gran Coupe Barracuda there was not an SE for 71 even though the A78 option I think it is, gave the small rear window and the overhead console. Wally would know for sure, his car has the small backlight.

I own a 71 challenger A78 Formal roof package 383 car.  Basically has all SE stuff without being named an SE.  Has small rear window , overhead console, vinyl roof, etc.  Only made 229 total A78 cars, so its pretty rare :)
Im sure even rarer with a big block.  Neat cars.  Mine is the only one ive seen in person.  Have seen a few others on the internet.

Told you guys!!!

Hey moparsupremist, where did your figures come from? Id love to learn more about the production numbers of our cars. Maybe we can at least compare our cars.... havent seen another either except for a gutted RT @ Carlisle about 5 years ago.

How then did you identify them as SEs? Any pics of fender tags? Because they had the same or similar options as a true SE doesn't make them SEs. :2cents:

:iagree: Im just thinking that people see that small window and automatically say SE, even though its not always......  :dunno: I think its easier than saying the whole sentence....
