I saw one, yellow Challenger in the Harrisburg area one time last year.  Never seen it since.

I have NEVER seen a 'Cuda in my area.  Probably why I get so much attention when I go driving in mine.  :)

**EDIT** Who the heck voted 30+??

My first thought was Daytona...  :faint:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Daytona has probably owed 30+ e bodies.

At the local shows, some old guy is always there with a 70 cuda with a old style 392 hemi, barley fits. Used to be a71 cuda and a beige 70 barracuda and a 72? orange cuda. Theres a lot of local shows and only seen 1 beat 74 challenger and now the 70 383 challenger. The bigger shows in tampa have a few, very rare for any at Bradenton drags.

I saw one or two when i was a teenager, but none finished in years (I'm 39..geesh I'm getting old)
One at an auto auction/swap meet (wanted 9k for a shell) - pass a 'cuda (I think - hard to see from the road) at a body shop on the way home everyday.

That's actually one of the reasons I sought one out as a project - they're rare and unusal to most folks. Ya' know what they say about Mustangs & Camero's right? Fill in your own punchline  :naughty:

Here's a little twist to your "Driving on the road"....if I'm on the road & the Challenger is not, with that work ? .....

Anyway what are the odds of this.. I have a '73 Challenger 340 Rally color Dark Silver....on my way out of the neighborhood on one street less than a mile from me are two different homes within a couple of blocks with '73 Challengers both Dark Silver...one is a 340 Rally the other a standard 318.
The other 340 Rally is in good condition roadworthy but paint is faded belongs to a local Mopar club member.
The 318 car hardly ever moves, has been parked at the same place for about 20 years rusting away...they won't sell.

Can't ask him tonite, its raining. Maybe next week.

Hotrod magazine's Steve Magnante was moaning about a 340 cuda in his hometown in mass. that had a 392 hemi in it. He wanted someone to buy it and put a 340 back in it. That 392 really looks big.

ooooh - I didn't realize this was a lifetime count.  I was kinda thinking "on average."

That's alright - I only really knew what a Challenger looked like within the past few years, so my vote probably remains the same.

I've seen around 6-10 on NZ roads, always driving the other way. I've seen a blown green 73 Challenger (was able to confirm year later on after seeing photos), a red 72, driving past while I was parked up outside a house in a random back street of NZ. That was probably the weirdest, there were no other cars or traffic in the street for the whole time I was there, at least 45 minutes. Funny thing was, I was at a house looking at a 69 Charger, the owner of the Charger didn't even know about that Challenger lol. I've seen a couple of 70s and a couple of 71s, can't recall the colours or options etc, most of the time it's a 60+mph thing going the other way but all of us here know that you just know when it's an E-Body, even from miles away.....low, wide....mean looking mother-shut-your-mouth. :bigshades:

Lifetime, many many.  Back in Las Vegas it wasn't too unusual to see one or two a month in 1990 still, or see one in a used car lot in 1995 even. Since moving to Ill Annoy in 1990, and not counting my own (which did drive into my garage here under its own power), three.  One was a plum crazy Challenger R/T vert (at least so badged) that I saw a few times in Northbrook.  One Challenger T/A many years ago, and one 'Cuda.  I know there are a lot more around here from seeing them at the car shows, but thats it for the street.

I see a couple Challengers and classic Mopars in general on the weekends cruising around.  This is the Motor City after all.  I'd put the count at 2 per week summer months only.

Back in 76, there was a local 70 challenger white hemi always around. Then he sold it for $1800. The old man wouldn't give me the money cause he hated hemis. Car was good shape, just 6 years old. Saw it later with a new paint job.

Around the same time i saw a 68 hemi gtx and 68 hemi charger for $1200. Fairly good condition.  I originally wanted another 68 charger 440 mannum or gtx cause they had at least the 440, but spotted my 70 rtse 440 challenger loaded 2 tag car for $750 and quickly forgot about b bodies.
