I say it can be saved, boy would it be a lot of work, but it could be saved. Hey they brought back LEE 1 after it had been jumped, bent, beat in with blocks, and left in the woods for 20 years.

That surely can't be brought back to life...

Anything can be saved with enough time, money, determination and patience. I saw a 71 hemi cuda brought back that was waaaayyy worse than that superbird and it was documented throughout the restoration that it wasn't rebodied.

That kind of burn actually changes the structre of the steel...it's currenty About $200 a ton over the scale!  :grinyes:

If joe dirt's car was a real superbird, they tore the wing off.  That was very sad.  It came off easy though so I think it was probably just a prop.

  Would you happen to have any pictures of what the car looked like after it was restored?   Where did you see pictures of the documentation of the car?
