Well.......from the looks of the pics....you know where you are on body work.  They have uncovered most of the surprises by now.  All depends on how much you want to invest.  The buy it now isn't bad.

not sure about the laws, but i think that a bill of sale does just the same, but not sure. they could probably do the research and find the title, but not sure....someone with more experience please chime in.

not sure on Missouri, but in some states like Georgia, you only need a bill of sale on any car over 20 years old to get it registered.

just got off the phone with dept. of revenue.  I will need a bill of sale and a letter from the state saying the car is too old to title, or if the state from which I am purchasing requires a title then the seller must submit a request for and receive a new title.

That seems like a reasonable price for a '73 340 'Cuda.  It probably would have been better if he didn't cut the section of the quarter panel out already, but it shouldn't be too big of an issue as they now offer factory-certified full reproduction panels.  Good luck with whatever you decide. :2thumbs:

I have seen those panels and was expecting that for the money I want to spend on a project car I would be buying them.

If I was going to get another project car that one seems a million times better than mine when I got it, If you have been looking for a good project car for a really long time then that buy it now would look really good to me.

Got this from the DMV.org site for Massachusetts.

"If you have a car, truck, motorcycle or other motor vehicle that's model year 1980 or older, and you purchased it before November 26, 1990, the vehicle is exempt from titling."

Its going to need a title for you to get it titled in your state.  I'm in Texas and it was a nightmare getting my '71 Corvette titled (it came from a no-title state).  I will never buy another non-titled car again.  Its an additional headache you don't really need, especially since you will run into other headaches getting it rebuilt.

Also, if you look the car has Nevada plates, which means he didn't get it titled in MA for some reason or another.

Yeah,  I talked with the seller he hasn't even applied for the title in his state and MO requires it for the purchase.  In talking with the seller he suggests going through international title service http://its-titles.com/dear74.htm  I am trying to reach them to see how this works.  I'm a little worried about this whole thing.
