Pictures of 1969 Q5 with white top/interior?
« on: July 30, 2008 - 10:31:23 PM »
I cannot find a picture I once saw of a GTX or Roadrunner with Q5/white/white scheme. We are going to paint a coffee can and then I will decide once and for all if I am gonna go with EL5 but most likely I will not. Anyone have any pictures of a Q5/white car? There is something about that color and a white gut that just seemed to pop. Thanks for any pics posted.

Thanks for the pics. The color looks close but I am pretty sure that for 1969 Q5 is a one year only color and has a bit more green than what I see in those pictures. I plan on painting my 71 Challenger that color. I know its not correct for 71 but I really like it and think it would really look good with a white top and stripes like my car had originally and will have again. I have not totally given up on Butterscotch since I feel like the car I saw in the show in Albuquerque looked too dark compared to original paint I saw on my own car. Here a couple of pics of a 69 runner on Craigslist. It is the correct Q5 that I like.

I believe you are correct. I think Q5 is a little darker also.
