:canada:Ok talk whit a body shop manhe said yes you can use base coat as long as you us a good plastic primer.Also you can add a little hardner also a little clear in the base so it will not be flat it will give you a small shine .Best to try it on a old part first makr shure that what you like.He said he had done this in a truck and lasted for a good time .When il try it i will post pic up.
