A Favor to Ask of any Mopar Nats visitors...

Hey all,

I know a few people I haven't met are attending the mopar nats, as well as a few people I've met before.  But I thought I'd try to see if someone could help me out.

My wife and I want to attend the nats Saturday morning for just a few hours - 8 until noon.  Tickets cost $20 each which means it's gonna cost me $40 just to go and hang out for four hours.  I know that at Carlisle, show field participants can enter a second person for free, and I was wondering if anyone could provide passenger seat for my wife or I.  I'm not looking to get both of us - in - I don't mind spending SOME money, I was just wondering if someone could help me save a few bucks.

We plan on being there by 8am, so we could meet up before hand at a hotel or parking lot - whatever's convenient.

If anyone is willing to help me out I'd really appreciate it.

Me too.  I leave for home Sunday Morning.  Why don't you just go on Sunday and do the other lame stuff on Saturday?

I guess that you haven't learned to leave the Wife and kids home, when you go do the car stuff huh?

Save the family stuff for any other weekend but the 2nd weekend in August.

The only reason we're going to be over in Columbus is that we're going to the COSI Science Center for the CSI exhibit as a birthday gift for my wife.  I wouldn't even be in Ohio that weekend if it weren't for COSI - I'd be going home to Harrisburg.

It was actually her idea to visit the Mopar Nats, but I just can't justify spending $40 to walk around for 4 hours.  I want to meet up with everyone at noon, but that's when we're leaving.

We're doing lunch at BD Mongolias in Columbus - AWESOME restaurant, then we're walking down to COSI (I can park for free at my corporate office all day) for my reserved time spot at the CSI exhibit.  Then we're heading back to my little apartment in Dresden that afternoon for dinner and dessert.

I haven't 100% decided to cancel my visit, but I've got a LOT of bills coming up in the next few months and right now I'm thinking a penny saved....
