    to all of you who answered my problem, thank-you. What ended up working was a combination of a baking soda paste with mothers convertible top cleaner using a lee valley finger nail brush (toothbrush just didn't cut it and my wife wouldn't let me use the rotary rechargeable), slight bit of water and patience! Although I have some small spots I missed, the large ones are history!

    A big thanks to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
