I plan on getting some more pics posted up.   Once I get the title I will list the info and numbers on the car.  I have to clean up the garage a little before I take some pics.  Looks like a hurricane hit it.

This  car actually still has it's trunk.  It looks bad but really it seems pretty solid.
I am hoping that upon media blasting it will still be solid.

Can anyone tell me what this hook or holder is?
It is located on the passengers side of the trunk.

It seems as if my radiator support is bent on the bottom.
Can anyone tell me if this is supposed to be tilted forward a little or is it supposed to be straight.
Anyone have a picture of a straight radiator support bottom??

Hi Josh,

Are you sure the loop is on the Passenger side and not the driver side of the car, if so it is the loop that the spring goes on to hold your jack in position.

And the rad support should be stright with no curve in it, it looks as if the bottom brace that is missing had bent upwards and locked over an object and they simply reversed the car to get it unstuck and this is how many lower rad supports are bent. :grinyes: :2thumbs:

Hello Josh,

Happy to hear you got it titled and are proceding on it...

The radiator support was like that when I got the car, looks like someone wraped a chain around the top and hooked the hook to the bottom to tow it.

Here a couple of pics of my support for you...

Thanks for the pics.  Looks as though it is dead nuts straight.

I can't say I am up to much as Archery hunting season is about to start and that will take up my free time for a month.  Probably just get it taken apart and ready for media blasting.

Now I just need to purchase a rotisserie.  Little pricey but worth it I guess.

Ok, I rolled the car out of the car today.  Took all the parts out of it.  Scraped up the rat nests from under the rear seats.   Tomorrow I am going to clean the inside and power wash as much as I can.
It's only been 19 months.  Havn't felt like cars for a while now.  Purchased a duster to keep it from getting crushed, worked on it for a short time and caught the bug again.
After cleaning the car, I am going to do something.
Might make it role again for a short time and completely strip her shortly after.
Seems I have most parts laying around to make her run again.
Listed a bunch of parts in the parts section.  Hopefully will make a few bucks but not expecting much.  Will try to get a few pics up tomorrow after cleaning .

Trunk pan bottom has no rust.  Only some pitting on the inside or top.

Passengers side front door jamb has some rot through.  Doesn't look like much fun.

Passengers side roof. Right up front.  Has a small rust hole.  Apparently caused the hole in the jamb.

Passengers side rear window channel has a few rust holes.  I am sure they will get worse after blasting.

Drivers side rear window channel has about 4 holes in the channel.

I was in the same situation didn't feel like working on the car very much, and last fall got the bug again. Now I can't wait for some better weather and some free time. Good luck and keep us posted

So, it is slow going but I have gotten the gas tank out of the car.
Interior has been removed.  No build sheet.   :pullinghair:
Power washed the entire car.
The gas tank is rust and dent free.  No varnish.
This picture is what came out of the gas tank.

Looks like about a handful.  :stomp:      The kids threw sticks and pine cones in ours. Hey, I'd come up and help sometime if ya' like.  Bring the welder/grinder. A little every day goes a long way. The Charger had me down too. Money/Time...   :violin: All my other cars...     It's tough with little coin and big dreams.   But we are getting there.   Keep at it !        IT WILL HAPPEN!   R/T

These kids had to go through some work to get the two big rocks in .  They must have only fit in the hole one way cause they weren't coming back out the fill spout.
Just found a new blasting guy.  I am supposed to go and talk to him Monday or Tuesday.  See what his rates are and so forth.
I heard he has one hell of a blasting room.
