I should know the answer to this, but why the swap on the firewall. I've noticed two styles within the same year and I don't know why. Is it that the AC cars are diff, or is it a year thing? thanks.

Well, guess it's time I really got started on my 73.  Original 318/904, 8 3/4 Sure-Grip rear w/3.55...  I plan to take it mostly back to original.  And just so I don't get  the dreaded worthless without pics...LOL  I have posted a couple to start with...

Nice project.  :2thumbs:

But honestly, I never heard of a 318 having a sure grip 3:55 diff combo from the factory.

Could you get a closer pic of the rear wheel supports.  I was curious as to what you did to get them to stay on the car.

Why Gorilla brand Super Glue of course...    :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:

They are bolted on to where the front spring hanger bolts...

Good idea.  Did you purchase the wheels and mounts or did you make them?

Got the casters from Harbor Frieght, half the price Tractor Supply wants from them and they are the same unit.

I built the mounts last weekend...  Just some 2x2 tube welded to flat plate for rear.  Up front used swivel casters 2x2 tube welded to flat at caster and 2" angle on other end mounted to where K-member mounts...
