Power Brake issues in my Hemi car

Having some work done on my 71 cuda clone and shop is telling me there are no brakes in the car. Engine is a straight Hemi buildup, not a crate motor, hydraulic cam. Brakes are 11 inch after-market up front with big drums out back. Booster is a smaller diaphargm unit from MP brakes in N. Carolina. He suggest that with as little vacuum I have with all that power I go o non-power brakes. Thoughts? not worried about HP lose with PWR but need to stop too! What will I need to bring it down to man. brakes time money?

Lose the power booster, best feeling brakes are manual disk.  They work great.

I have manual brakes. No problems. It does build leg strength too.

If you have power steering, go with the hydraboost setup. A friend had the same trouble with his 64 vette 468CI and now with the hydraboost it will stand on its chin at 100MPH. So one does have to be cautious about how hard he stands on the brakes as it will lock the wheels. bit like driving an empty semi-truck

I have manual discs on my 70 440-6 and have no issues and stops very good

Right now I want to do the quickest thing to get back on the road.
OK so lose the booster and going manual is fine, what does it entail me doing?

2 things - reroute or get new master cylinder brake lines and get a manual brakes push-rod.  Actually 3 thrings, you need the rubber retaining ring that holds the pushrod in the master cylinder.

I did not see anything on Master Powers website with regard to man brakes push-rod or retainer ring.
Is it as simple as a NAPA part? Sorry for the dumb replies, but I bought the smaller booster to get it to fit when I installed the Hemi, now not enough just been my nightmare and want to get back on the road, soon! Thx for the help

You'll also need the steel backing plate that goes between the master cylinder and the firewall!

   Wilwood Manual discs on mine and it also stops great. 
Parts from any E or B body should interchange, but I don't know where you get repo parts like that. Mancini sells the aluminum master cylinder and parts for that and I've been told by a friend with a 340 Dart that it works much better than the stocker.

Ok so here is what Master Power says. The replacement man. Master Cyl is $90.00 the booster to get it up is $300.00 sounds liek a no-brainer huh? I am just afraid with teh MP guys. They are really selling generic (mostly GM stuff) and not real Moapr guys/gurls. I am wondering as someone mention just to go to someone liek Mancini Racing in Michigan and talk we people who know my stuff. Ideas?

I there something wrong with your current master cylinder? I would just use it.

your current master may or may not have the groove inside the rear piston to retain the pushrod
