Rocker molding on 70 R/T SE
« on: August 05, 2008 - 07:26:39 PM »
Was rocker molding standard on the R/T SE Challenger?  The car is a 440/auto and appears to have a majority of its original paint.  However, it looks like there is evidence of holes welded up along the rocker panel and a coat of paint covering it.  The paint almost appears to be rattle can or crappy spray gun as its flaking and not very thick.  Bad prep too.  I was surmising that a previous owner tried removing the rocker trim and did a quick cosmetic job to improve the looks.  Would the rocker molding be on the broadcast sheet?  Which code?

My R/T SE has just about every option they had but no rocker molding. you would think that would have been part of the SE package but it wasn't.

OK, no rocker moldings came on the car.  After further inspection I only see 2 holes that were welded up.  On my BS, I have M21 - Drip rail, M26 - Wheel lip, M31 - Belt, And M83 , but can't read the description(my scan is too blurry here).  Anyone know what M83 is?
