Future cuda owner droppin' in.
« on: August 06, 2008 - 05:48:10 PM »
Hey, i'm just a 14 year old mopar nut in from Dodgechallenger.com droppin' in.
Found you guys and desided to expand my mopar(insert word here). My dad owns a 67 Cuda that he restored when my mom was pregnant with me, so there's some attachment there. Now the he's been in storage for a year or so(The car not my dad) and it's time for some lovin'(Once agin. The CAR, Not my Dad)

The inner right QP is rusted
The drivers seat is toast
The poor little 273 commando needs some steroids.
And so other stuff that i can't remember.
But BOY does that thing soud beautiful. If a 273 sounds like that I can only imagine a 426 Hemi roar.
(the cuda is the only old mopar i've really HEARD):crying:

Now. The only hang up is school and the finishing touches to our home remodeling adventure! :puke:
And the it's 'CUDA TIME!

As for the tender age of 14... kudos to your Ol'man for tainting ya at such a young age.lol I remember back to those days I got my 71 Cuda just to spite my Ol'man since he was a chebby/generic motors guy.  :smilielol:

Welcome to the site!  That's around the same age I picked up my '69 Charger rust bucket from my parent's friend.  I was able to get it running and driving again after sitting for something like 11 years (had to cut trees down to get it pulled out from behind the garage) and the addiction only continued to grow into what you see in my signature.  BTW: I realized by age 15 that the '69 Charger was too badly rusted for me to restore, not to mention it slammed itself into reverse and hit my dad's semi that was parked perpendicular behind it (actually left rubber marks in the garage it came from).  Anyways, welcome to the site and it sounds like you'll have a fun project ahead of you with the '67 Barracuda. :2thumbs:
