I think he is saying it is a Mopar original instead of a repro set up.  Not original to the car but off of another '70 or '71
'CUDA from back in the day

Oh yeah....  well, I think having a buddy like Al, this guy is going the right places when it comes to the best price and all. I hope the sale goes well, maybe a lurking newbie is looking for this sort of thing.

Seems like a very nice driver. It has nice options for a 318 car such as a ralley dash and it an original 4 speed car. I think that car with a clear title sould easily bring 20k plus! Just my 2 cents. :2thumbs:

This car was set up similar, but may be a bit nicer. The owner is a jerk. The car has been for sale for months on Craigslist:

The car does have a title and it matches the rad support, cowel and door tag. The pad was changed out and they didnt know about the vin stuff. He is getting a dot vin in Baton Rouge from the state police is all :2thumbs:

I have to agree it is a 318 car originally and needs a dash VIN tag. I would say with the economy it would bring 15,000 - 17,000 and a hole lot more 2 years ago.

If this is any help a 73 Barracuda in less than average driver shape went for 19,700 on e-bay the other day. This sticks out in my mind because the owner was stating that the car was solid other than the trunk pan. I could clearly see several areas of bubbling and a piece of the rear quarter lip that was completely rusted away. I got so mad that I e-mailed the guy and pointed this out to him and told him that he was being deceptive by saying it was rust free. He wrote back and said he agreed and went back and changed the description. Indeed he did but not to the extent that it was. Still I checked back and someone had hit the buy it now!! This car is 10 times nicer than the one off ebay!!

BTW... The car was a base model car. 318/auto with a standard dash with little to no options. The car looked to be painted with a spray bomb. The car was red and the door jambs and underhood was purple!!! The hood itself was black. I was blown away that it even sold!!!
