Powder coating is very easy. I have asked a few people who do this and they say there is no problem at all with that. And they say it is pretty cheap. A few hundred dollars I have been told from a few people.
Much cheaper than a set of the textured rear trim. I think there are several of us here that would love to have a set of the textured rear window trim.
Are there any other trim pieces on the exterior of a car that have texture? I don't think there is but then again I didn't know about these until this thread.
I had a 69 Grand Prix that had rear window textured trim which came on all the vinyl roof cars. I put them on a non vinyl roof car and painted them the color of the car. That looked real slick.
