I assumed the balancers were supposed to be engine color. every one Ive ever taken apart was....  :dunno: lookin good!  :2thumbs:

 Just kidding really, youre probably right Wally426 that's the correct color dampner in the pictures. :cheers: I painted mine black for looks and added the white TDC line for contrast. The timing tape takes care of the that item though.

 So when are you going to drop her in the bay BC?  How about a Youtube/live initial firing for us guys?? :stirpot:

Will drop it in when my diareé from beeing scared of a rod flying out of the block is gone.  :roflsmiley:

If somebody teach me making a video and put it on yuotube I will do it, have a cellphone with camera and a digital videorecorder.  :2thumbs:

Had a big problem alone getting it in, the tranny was still there and gave me problems. Had to remove the enginemounts.  :pullinghair:

 What a pain in the arse. Sometimes it's easier to load it with the trans on. Just need to raise the front end enough to get the tail shaft to clear the ground. Movin along tho bro. :cheers:

the easiest way by far is to slide the engine in from the bottom fully assembled

Finished the underside today. Except some problems getting the exhaustpipe to manifold correct on the driverside due to my big hands
it went good. Found again some loose bolts from the previous restorer.

My daughter will put the startup on youtube so watch out.  :bigsmile:

Please help me, when I turn the key I have a metallic squesse/noice I never had by turning it manually, I've tried 50 times
with the wrench without problems. :swear:

It could be the starters natural noise..... My junkyard find Mini-starter sounds fine. But, my fathers "autopart store" mini-starter sounds like someone is digging into precious metal with a screwdriver...  :dunno:

Maybe take the starter off and do a bench test, and check for noises that way :dunno:

Could it be that I took the converter from the charger and the wearpattern is different?
