    didn`t you have a gasket problem with the oil pump when you installed it on the block , That would do it

    Propably the oilfilter has got "loose" with all my problems getting the engine in the car. That fits with the direction of the spray you see in the clip.
    I could turn it a little bit but have to wait untill my floor is clean again for a real check.

    Wow, tough break.  Hopefully you can get it sorted out.  What kind of pump are you using and what grade of oil?  Must have been some serious pressure to burst that thing.

    It could also have been a lousy crimp on the filter. I have seen this numerous times, and  there is no reason that a MOPAR filter can't have a construction failure. I have personally seen 3 MOPAR filters leak here, and I figured that one day, there would be a catastrophic failure like yours. Sorry it was you.

     That screech sound when you shut it down, did you lose oil pressure? Any ideas?

    Yes, the lamp started to burn. The gauge I didn't check in the confusion but the half of the oil is still there.  :dunno:

    Hopefully it was the belts getting wet from the oil.

    Installed new filter and oil and the same thing happens :banghead: This time it just pore right down on the floor.
    Time to take a look at the pump I guess and especially that gasket. What else can it be? My hands are not that strong that I break the filters.

    Got to be in the pump.  Is it a HV pump?  Is it thick oil?50W

    It's Kendall 20-50 racingoil, new Melling HV pump. Why did it work the first 20 minutes? :clueless:
