Convertible doorglass
« on: August 09, 2008 - 02:24:21 AM »
Bought my second Challenger convertible in my life and was I surprised when I saw that that one ALSO had a hardtop drivers doorglass.
It's kind of irritating because it doesn't close properly at the windshield-top corner. I havn't seen any repro on ebay so I guess it's only to watch for
a used one and I can't imagine they grow on trees out there. Anybody with experience?  :1zhelp:

I'm almost positive I bought repros for my challenger vert about 5 years ago. I'll look at my reciepts today and see who I bought them from.

I bought my door glass from a local glass shop. They ordered it for me and took about a week. Was expensive at $315 for the passenger door. I think that is why people replace them with hardtop glass. You can find it a lot easier and you rarely ride with the glass up.

I looked through my reciepts and I can not find who I bought replacement glass from. But I know I bought it new for  both passenger and driver side doors. And yes it was expensive and no it did not have date codes.

:2thumbs: Now I know you can get them. Just have to be careful when washing the car otherwise it's ok.  :grinyes:
