WARNING! Crossfires do not do donuts w/o breaking!
My mom had one and came down to visit us here in Miss. a few years back. We (me and wifey) took it out for a spin. We hit about 160 on the interstate at about 2 am. On our way back we saw a church paking lot that looked like it needed some rubberized decorative markings......
It was a blast!
On the way back to Oklahoma, my parents had rear diff failure. Luckily it was only about 60 miles away from home. The dealership said it looked like abuse and sent samples to Germany to see if warranty would cover it. Before the results got back my dad had them fix it for free. I guess buying a new Charger Daytona R/T, a 03 CTD Ram, and a 00 CTD is enough for them to not want to lose his business and overlook the "abuse".
I haven't told the parents that I did the donuts that may have led to the failure but I was sweating bullets until they got it resolved.
Overall, I would say it was a very fun car and though I didn't like the rear window being hard to see out of I wouldn't hesitate to put it near the top of the list if I were looking for a roadster.
I really like the capabilities of the Cayenne's. They cost a bit more though.
What do used Prowlers go for?
