Fair enough.

You have to keep in mind we have had many scammers over the years. Those of us that have been here for a while know the drill.   :blah:  We mean no offense.

I am being very lady like. I am not arguing with anyone, just asking questions.
I did not know I had to prove my credibility.
I am not a car enthusiast though now have a different appreciation for the car after
doing some internet research for the last 1 month.

I do not know about the evil world of what unethical people
do with dodge challengers. Just tried to do a little research on a car that
we have had for 37 years and for almost 30 years have had various people
wanting to buy it.

I am just a daughter trying to help out her mother. I have no reason
to lie or deceive or skirt an issue or question -- such as why are you so interested in the options?
By the way, who are you? Please let me understand you.
If you give me a good and honest answer to why the options interest you I will post the fender tag.

I am being extremely reasonable upfront and honest. How about you? :angelwings:

Just so you know, we had a supposed wife of an injured man selling car parts last month.  Seems pretty innocent eh? It turned out to be bogus and a few guys got burned for some cash. Some of us got together and donated their lost money back to them. I hope that sheds a small amount of light on how much we value each other. We are just a family of enthusiasts trying to do our thing of which you are more than welcome. Just know that even though we want to, we cannot just "take your word for it" if you know what I mean. You have a right to know about us and this all usually takes place in the newbie section where you as a new member, introduce yourself and us as long term members, introduce ourselves. Hope that answers some or your questions as to why we might seem so supicious of new members.

This thought may not be politically correct, but is an opinion offered. It may be correct? or it may be wrong? It is not designed to appease those needing shelter from the real world.

Seems the price you are asking is a little much. The add says left and right body damage, it's a 6 cyl , and not a desireable color. How did you come up with this price?  Looks like it could be a nice driver, but not a high dollar car.  I see you're taking offers :2thumbs:

welcome to the site. Your pictures should be posted here with no links. When were these taken?  Do you have any dry pictures, and better shots of the car?   Cant see much with what you have

Can appreciate your comments. Thanks.

I had tried posting in the newbie section of other forums and it was not
very productive nor welcoming nor helpful . I am not sure if I did this on this forum
but I think I did but will have to check. I have been popping around forums and get
them mixed up sometimes. This forum is definitely the most lively and responsive.

I hope you can appreciate my apprehensiveness as I am no expert, just want to get
the best price possible for my mother. I advertised in different means and just seem
to come across people who want me to give the car away for $1500 or $2500 or $5500 etc.
I suspect it deserves more than that at least for surviving this long.

I will post the fender tag without the sequence & order #s.
But I have a new apple computer (broken hp laptop) and have to download the
digital camera disc on to it so I can upload the pics on my camera that include
the fender tag. Give me a little bit to do this as I will have to get my husband
to do it. I only have the pics on the camera as the car is at the mechanics 200
away. :working:

I have a pic of the car from 1971 or 1972 (maybe only in black & white)
in the front of our old house, but I will have to go through the photo box
and find it. I assume I have to do that to say it is a survivor car?

The pics were taken 2 maybe 3 weeks ago. I have others showing the
damage and rust. In my initial post I advised to email me for those
pics if you want them.

the fender tag matches the vin #.

Those are the only things I have pics of.

I did not know where else to look. If you tell me where
to take pics I will, but the car is 200 miles away from where
I am now. I have an appointment tomorrow morning and
then am going to see the mechanic and can take the pics
of what you want just need to let me know where I should
look for them.

So is it ok to post the FULL FENDER TAG & VIN #, knowing there
are unethical people out there, as My husband has uploaded the pics
