I forgot to add -- I have had too numerous offers to count for just over $5000 and had offers up to $8900 before the car had work down - new tires, brakes, and gas tank cleaned out. :working:

:cooldancing: Sometime it just take time and the right person that comes along who sees what I see and you can't see what I see and unless you see it.  :roflsmiley:

Also I forgot another thing......

The only reason I put the pics on my website is --- when I listed/posted my ads - car for sale - there was one forum or webiste that made me post my pics somewhere rather than uploading it. I do not know why but I just did as I was instructed. That is why the pics of the car ended up on my webiste, no other reason. Just convenience and I had no access to any other website etc. to post pics.

I kinda like the tension that it creates on my website too and it is free advertising - can not beat it. But it was not contrived just accidental. I can not imagine why such a thing would offend anyone or that someone is questioning why I would put the pics on my website, but who knows what some of you are thinking --with what I have had to put up with and who I have been exposed to on here it should not surprise me.

Some of you guys are worse than gossiping old women.   :stomp: :roflsmiley:  :clapping:

Bella, I'm telling on you :chatting:     (Some of you guys are worse than gossiping old women)   Actually i'm off the porch running like a big dog more than on the porch . I hadn't thought about gossip.

Quit worrying about offense/defense.   It's a car. A brown/brown/brown car.   I'd buy all the brown interior out of it for 500 bucks to send to HemiKen in Aussie for his M46 car. Easier to dye tan.

Well people, I'd have to say we need a smiley showing someone yanking a chain! No what I mean! This is better than the "As the World Churns" soap opera.
This is a classic! I am truly begining to think Barnum and Bailey are still alive!

Again...I will be driving through Red Deer (where the car is) by the end of the week if anyone wants me to look at this car and settle all this drama.   :roflsmiley:

I don't care one way or the other, but if that was my car and somebody produced $8,900 in cash wanting to buy it I would probably dislocate my elbow pulling the title and keys out of my pocket.  :jumping:  :bananasmi :clapping: :woohoo:

...I feel like I have been wasting my resources all these years with a climate controlled indoor storage facility...turns out, storing your car outdoors under a tree for decades will keep them near perfect too

 :roflsmiley:

...seriously, I wish you luck with your sale, but the more I learn about your Challenger, the more I see a very typical 40 year old car(as I suspected earleir)....rust, dents, interior issues and no telling what else we can't see or know about...just because it moves under it's own power doesn't mean it's mechanically restored or road ready...

...I'm not psychic, I have just been on lots of road trips to look at "near perfect" cars that all had the same issues when I got there, and this one fits the mold perfectly...some of the "minor" issues you admit to, are in reality expensive repairs....price a dash pad, seats, headliner, installation of the above, probably a carpet....all in all, possibly a couple of grand on minor "interior issues"...moving on to the body and paint, probably lower quarters, possibly/probably a trunk pan, maybe inner fender issues under the hood, rust around the hood hinges...is the glass scratched from wiper blades....all in all, restoration of a car can eat up lots of big $$$ quickly...my point, the car isn't "nearly perfect" with the issues I see in the limited pictures available... original, yes, a survivor no...it is a car awaiting a restoration, or a restification, but it has probably passed the limits of being considered a "survivor"....just "still being here" doesn't qualify as a survivor

...don't understand your fear of Ebay...selling your car on Ebay is no different than selling it here, the buyer is still looking at it online....Ebay buyers also are allowed to make a trip in person to inspect the car or have a representative look at it for them...I have done both and been very happy with the results

...there are lifetimes of experience here, offered to you for free, use it to your advantage, don't argue with it...some of us have bought and sold numerous Challengers, others here have restored numerous Challengers, others have worked on numerous Challengers....listen to what some of them have to say, it could help you in your transaction...again, when it's priced right, it will find a new home

Daytona you are incredible -- i never said the car in total was near perfect. The only time I used the word near perfect was with the interior and with the exception of the driver's seat. The windscreen & rear are not scratched at all, not even a crack in it. The hood hinges are not rusty nor is there a problem with the trunk or front fender. You are amazing.

But i know what is going on here and let me share it with all of you.

THERE ARE DEFINITELY  THREE (3) PEOPLE ON HERE THAT ENJOY TRASHING MY CAR IN ORDER TO GET THE PRICE DOWN, BUT THESE SAME 3 PEOPLE HAVE HAUNTED ME TO BUY  & VIEW THE CAR. WHAT THEY DO IS EMAIL ME EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE AND ASK - IS THE CAR STILL AVAILABLE? IF SO I WANT TO VIEW IT. I RESPOND TO THEIR EMAIL AND TRY TO SET UP A VIEWING, BUT I DO NOT HEAR FROM THEM. THEN, A LITTLE WHILE LATER THEY CONTACT ME AGAIN ASKING - IS THE CAR STILL AVAILABLE AS I CONTACTED YOU BEFORE, BUT YOU DID NOT RESPOND? IF IT IS STILL AVAILABLE THEN I WANT TO VIEW IT. I RESPOND TO THEIR EMAIL AGAIN, BUT THEY DO NOT ANSWER ME. THEN THEY WAIT AWHILE LONGER AND SEND ME ANOTHER EMAIL SAYING I AM COMING THROUGH RED DEER THE WEEK OF ...... AND THE LATEST MESSAGE WAS THE WEEK OF SEPT 2 AND WANT TO VIEW IT. I RESPOND, BUT I NEVER HEAR BACK FROM THEM. OH BY THE WAY THEY LIVE IN AND AROUND CALGARY AND RED DEER AND EDMONTON!! EASY TO FIGURE OUT WHO THEY ARE!!! EH?!?!

I know this has been going on for quite some time and I know who it is and what they are doing on here, as well as my other ads on kijiji, lemon free, car pages and old ride etc. Does not take a brain surgeon or a mopar specialist to figure it out, as you are not very good at it!!!!  :roflsmiley: Or should I call you the gang.  :villagers:
I have tried to save you the embarassment on here but you guys just keep going on doing what you are doing, but i also realize you guys or the gang do this often . It is sad,  very sad. Why do you think you have not been able to even see the car? Or should i say why I have not allowed you to see the car, while I have allowed others to view it?  :clapping:  :woo:

The car is --- as I say it is......if those of you on here want to believe others or the gang  :villagers: who have never seen the car, then you are misguided and being duped  :dupe:, by those who want me to sell it at a price I do not want to sell it at, and I will never sell it at that price that they are only prepared to pay -- for whatever reasons other than getting it for the cheapest price possible.  :smilielol:

Fortunately, I have 2 guys who actually are not part of the gang  :villagers: that I will be showing it to next week and both have already offered me more than $10,000, if the car is what I say it is, which it is.  :bananasmi  :angelwings:

Continue to play your games and you miss the boat.............. OOPS you already did. I believe everyone always gets what they deserve in the end.  :horse:
Better Luck next time.  :jumping:

Again, those of you who are really interested in viewing the car and are not trying to artificially manipulate the price down, come and take a look at the car before it is gone.

Thanks for your attention

By the way, DAYTONA I never said it was parked under a tree. IT WAS NEVER PARKED UNDER A TREE!!!! I know how deadly that can be for a car.

The car was parked on pavement not under or near a tree. It was in a very protected area that was not deliberate  -- just lucky I guess that
this area created a little safe & protected micro-climate for the car - just stupid luck!!!. As I said it was not deliberate, just the truth. Live with it and
Accept it, as I did.  :roflsmiley:

Everyone the car was not parked under a tree. It was parked on pavement, not under of near a tree. The car vents
were left ajar for air circulation as well. Thanks.
