I've been wrong before, but I don't think that's the case. I think we have a ase of someone who is just not familiar with the protocols of the hobby and the protocols of the board.

...my feelings too

Would you take a survivor '71 Challenger in lieu of cash?

Crossed my mind also.  Maybe it's that same guy that was always looking to buy a car, but in reverse.

If Bella Breeze is a city in Utah I'm gonna sh*t.

THE IS AT TNT MECHANICAL IN RED DEER IN THE INDUSTRIAL PARK BEHIND ARBY'S. IT IS STILL AT THE MECHANICS AND IF YOU WANT TO STOP BY AND SEE GO RIGHT AHEAD.
BELLA BEEZE

Good news  :woo:
The car is real and at the garage on a lift and need lots of work.

I just called TNT talked to Larry nice guy the car has major rust (his words not mine)
In addition, it is not road worthy (his words not mine) would not comment on frame rust.

TNT mechanical 6-6874 52 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 4L1, Canada - (403) 309-4400‎

At the risk of getting myself banned, i'm calling out the respective moderators of the Classified section - as well as the administrator - on this thread and it's many (irrelevant) responses.

A newer member has (at this time) 48 posts, nearly all of which can be tagged as defensive - for no valid reason. How did so many adults become so childishly vindictive so quickly? We all could stand taking a figurative step backwards along with a few deep breaths where this thread, and the poor attitude(s) contained within, is concerned. If there is a critique or question concerning the item for sale, pm or email the seller. This is, after all, a forum and posts have a tendency to read as opinions without a facial expression or tone of voice to identify their intent.

Bella, it is evident that you initially posted here to list a Challenger for sale. Please reconsider before using the very same 'For Sale' thread to seek information and opinions. You could have avoided much grief, as well as becoming unnecessarily defensive, by posting in the 'So, What's It Worth?' section.

Assisting with the care of any family member, much less a parent, is physically, and therefore mentally, draining. I and many others here can speak from experience on that issue. So i'm sure you could do without the unnecessary childishness within this thread. Please stick around whether your car sells or not.

As has been alluded to, and rightly so, the collective knowledge here is voluminous. Or as Billy Connolly might say in that great Scottish brogue of his, "It's freakin' huuuuge!!".

Everyone come on and ease off the throttle a bit.

Am I the only one here convinced that this car doesn't exist (or the solicitation isn't for real)?  There are so many red flags here it's not funny.

Mike

its real?
 :eek2:
oh my god!
good luck with the sale BB.

This thought may not be politically correct, but is an opinion offered. It may be correct? or it may be wrong? It is not designed to appease those needing shelter from the real world.

   it's many (irrelevant) responses.

I've been watching this thread  from day one and visited it several times a day.  I just wanted to get this post in here before it gets locked.

Since Thedodgeboys talked to the real "mechanic" it sounds like the car needs some major work.

Welcome Bella.
I paid $bigmoney for a 71 convertible on Ebay.  20 years ago it would have sold for $500. Mine sat outside for years and years too. I now have to replace everything.
You'll get what you can get for it. There may be a buyer looking for your car.

WHAT THEY DO IS EMAIL ME EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE AND ASK - IS THE CAR STILL AVAILABLE? IF SO I WANT TO VIEW IT. I RESPOND TO THEIR EMAIL AND TRY TO SET UP A VIEWING, BUT I DO NOT HEAR FROM THEM. THEN, A LITTLE WHILE LATER THEY CONTACT ME AGAIN ASKING - IS THE CAR STILL AVAILABLE AS I CONTACTED YOU BEFORE, BUT YOU DID NOT RESPOND? IF IT IS STILL AVAILABLE THEN I WANT TO VIEW IT. I RESPOND TO THEIR EMAIL AGAIN, BUT THEY DO NOT ANSWER ME. THEN THEY WAIT AWHILE LONGER AND SEND ME ANOTHER EMAIL SAYING I AM COMING THROUGH RED DEER THE WEEK OF ...... AND THE LATEST MESSAGE WAS THE WEEK OF SEPT 2 AND WANT TO VIEW IT. I RESPOND, BUT I NEVER HEAR BACK FROM THEM. OH BY THE WAY THEY LIVE IN AND AROUND CALGARY AND RED DEER AND EDMONTON!! EASY TO FIGURE OUT WHO THEY ARE!!! EH?!?!

Whew!    Started reading this in the 2nd inning of the Sox/Rangers game -- now the bottom of the 5th!   Are we sure this isn't a phantom?
