    Since this is my 5000 post. I thought I would show my achievements here since being on the site.  I went from a shell that had set in the desert in lower Ca since 1973 to me purchasing the car in 2006 and driving it in 2008, and the cover for COTM on cc.c. Many long lonesome knights in my shop, a lot of dollars spent, parts swapped and sold,  but I finally have my car almost to where it is extremely fun to drive. I always see challengers, but no barracudas.

    I spent 12k for the rust free car and 2k having it and all the peices delivered 2500 miles to my house.  Total investment under 25k from nothing to driving

    Congratulations on the car and the 5000 posts.  It has been a joy watching the car come together as well as reading most of your posts.

    Oh, yeah ------ congrats on COTM!!!!!!!!

    Your barracuda looks so much meaner than the camaro.  It just looks like its going to eat that chebbies lunch. 

      Great car Al.  I can say I am very glad I got to watch the car come together from the beginning.  I have learned alot from your restoration project and very much appreciate you sharing all the pictures and information to everyone here.

    Alan, I love your car. Congradulations on the accomplishment. Not only have you acheived some personal goals, you have made this a warm and fuzzy place for all of us as well. I am so glad that I stumbled across this when i did.

     :2thumbs: Nice Job, I'm going on 6 years or is it 7, I'm close but money has become an issue so it will wait, gonna at least try & get the touch ups on the paint done this fall, I have all the stuff. Just need the interior & some new tires, so close but yet so far. Anyway it's good to see another cuda done & on the road, have a Ball driving it!  Rich.
