looking good  :clapping:    hope you`re not too sore the day after...
Are those trim pieces around the tailpanel very hard to get parts?  I love the way it makes the rear look wide.
If you ever come across a set I`d be interested. Driver quality will do just fine for me  :2thumbs:

72-74 cudas, 70 -71 grand coupe and the M46 70 barracudas came with those chrome pieces. The decklid chrome is being reproduced now, but the quarter ends are not.  Once I find a new set, you can get these off of my car

Alan, I can't believe your talking taking this beauty apart & going 318.....
How about getting that $500.00 Challey & building a race car instead?

Ok, so have a 440 and just needing a stock 440 throttle bracket and a 440 accelerator cable right? And you live in Canada right?

I'm done with doctors today, just got back. They will have to call me at work now to tell me whatever. They didnt know what happened to me. They thought a posible small stroke, but didnt find a clot. I went in today for kidnies. So since I did my own therapy on my leg and hands, I can walk pretty good now, so it's back to work.

If you need pictures of what I have, it may help you and you can see what I have.  If you only need the 2 pieces, the box will be small. If your in Canada, it will go by usps to keep charges down on you. The 2 parts would be around 25 bucks and no idea on shipping but prob not that much by mail usps

I'd like to point out that Al has accumulated over 3,500 posts since August of last year...  And you guys thought I was bad!!!  :)

Good on ya, Al.  Car looks gorgeous.  I only hope that my 'Cuda can be at that point someday.

You sound like your feed up with Doctors? LOL Give them a chance though! Your worth it! I'm no expert but something isen't right with your body. Don't ignore it!

As far as the parts go,
I have the kickdown arm on the tranny ( Thanks to Terry, Tactransman) and I bought a LOKAR  kickdown cable thinking "good luck" finding the stock set up. Some people on here don't seem to like the Lokar piece? If you have the stock kickdown linkage maybe that would work better? I assume it's for a Carter carb? Will that work OK for a Holley carb? What are your thoughts? So at this point I'm using a Holley 4 barrel, I have no throttle cable ( old one is junk, with a Mickey Mouse generic bracket( I think it's a cobbled up Chevy piece) that doesn't fit very well on my Holley Street Dominator intake)  So I'll rely on your know how on what I need verses what you have? Cause I'm green on that issue! LOL Thanks ....again!!!! :2thumbs: I'll PM you my address so you can figure in shipping when we figure what I need?
