I have a chance to pick up a 70 Barracuda convertible. It's a very plain jane 318 auto on the column car, blue on blue, with the only option being a power top. It was completely ripped apart for restoration, but the owner ran into a divorce and financial trouble. He sunk alot of money into quality sheet metal work, but it still needs alot of repair to the back half. All the replacement metal is with the car, cut off and prepped from a donor car. It's about 75 percent there, but is missing some convertible trim (boot opening stuff, maybe more) and needs fenders, hood, grille. Has a good title, but the fender tag and buildsheet got lost. I see they repaired the cowl area from the donor car, and the cowl number no longer matches the rad support and VIN plate. What are your thoughts regarding what this project may be worth?
