Guys! Lets not misunderstand my role in this. Of course I am interested in a discount in any and everything I buy if I can get one, who isn't. I saw some other group buy deals that have occured on this board and thought I would present the idea to Ron Francis since I was already interested in buying a new wire harness. Normally with group discounts it's been my experience that you have to buy in much larger bulk than what Ron offered (only 5 min).
I got mine and so did 2 other members, so RON gave the discount immediately dispite actually not having gathered all 9 order payments from the other members. Ron got a total of 2 payments plus myself which makes 3 and issued 20% discount to the 3 of us! So I have nothing to gain except that I was the one that initiated this and feel somewhat responsible for the lack of action on behalf of my other fellow members that initially commited!

I understand that when it got down to some nitty gritty details about the harness maybe it doesn't fit the exact needs for a member or two. But it's not as if there was not plenty of time to do diligent research and ask questions direct to RF beforehand. But regardless this is not about character assasination as some of you are trying to imply because I "called them out" In fact I would take advice regarding mopars from any of the members on this board and I am sure they are all great guys and major contributors on the forum.
My part in this is done and I have nothing else to do with it or say after this. A 20% discount was on the table for an outstanding Mopar wire harness offered by Ron Francis and 3 of us (plus Bart =4 ) have taken advantage of the deal and saved some nice cash! Anyone that pulled away from the deal will just end up paying full price down the road from Painless or RF simple as that...

sounds to me like most didnt pull out as much as the company did the right thing and said, no wait till you get the catalog and place your order when you can put eyes on what you want to ensure the correct product is shipped. I say good on ya Bob (seems like folks talked with him).

Yes, that is exactly right.  Bob explained that RF does not offer a 'Mopar' harness - it is a universal harness, and so we should carefully review what is offered, and understand each individual application and circuit requirements, before placing an order.

And that's why it was inappropriate to list the names of those of us who haven't yet completed their orders. 

Risko1: Your tone in the previous post suggests that you still don't understand why that move was not appreciated.  Without knowing the situation, you posted our names, and accused us of '...fouling things up for other members', and '...not keeping our end of the deal'. 
If you felt a little exposed, and had concerns about why the transactions hadn't happened yet, it would have been appropriate to send a PM or email, and you would have known the actual situation.

To fantum (and anyone else affected by this)...Have you ever seen a catalog?

I have never received a catalog, nor any further information from the company.  I guess the deal is off...

Let me first thank you risko for starting the group buy, I understand you did this with the intentions of helping us. However before you "call me out" on not following through and black list me (Chris Zigrossi-Challengerx) please have all the info. Number 1 it was my understanding I was giving my info out as someone that was interested not committed to buying, second, I talked someone right after I contacted you and expressed my interest in the wiring harness and they told me to check out their catolog. I waited many weeks for the catalog that never came, I called them back last week and they apologized and sent out a catalog and informed me that the price was still good. I do intend on buying from them after determining which is best for me. I' m on this site every night and enjoy the info and people, I don't chime in very often but when I do I hope my credibility is not shot after this thread. I participated in az nicks group buy on dash pads with no problem and hope more money saving group buys happen in the future. Thanks Chris Zigrossi
