Thanks for the pics!

I did both last year and prefer the Mopar Nationals too. I did Woodward once and it was fun Once. After that, it is just an 8 hour traffic jam till the police close off the street.

Nationals are Great, Woodward brings everyone out, and it's not just about Mopar's, everyone is like Family, Mopar, Chevy & Ford cruise side by side.. Traffic is nuts no doubt, but just cruise over two lanes and it moves faster. We get out early, Cruise, then we park and walk around, see the events, and watch the cars. As you see later we left and went to the Lake and Ate. Still a good time for a once a year event.

Okay, I admit it.  If Woodward wasn't 10 hours away, I would have gone at least 2, maybe 3 of the cruise days.

Me cruising in that outside lane last year was AWESOME.  I worked my clutch so many times in that loop that I made, that I dried out the grease in my pilot bushing and had to re-add it.

I was GREAT fun!

I remember one good/bad comment yelled at me.  It was "NICE CAR FAGG0T"

I wasn't ready for that, so I didn't have anything ready to respond back with. Sure, I had something minutes later, but it caught me off guard.

After hearing that, I probably immediately had a puzzled-stupid look on my face.

Maybe next year!

Thanks for sharing those photos.  Who in there right mind would be out driving that '70 drop top shaker 'Cuda there?!!!  I also get a good laugh out of the person in their Volvo behind Dave. :lol2:  I'd feel out of place taking my Stealth there...(that and I'd probably end up broken down on the side of road due to waiting in traffic for so long  ::)).

Street,   The Friend I drove up with, drove his twin-turbo Stealth up there with me from St. Louis. He enjoyed the cruising just as much.

There were lots of mini-vans on the strip though.
