Something for you Duster fans
« on: August 17, 2008 - 11:08:45 AM »
Figured I'd post a pic of another custom stripe I did for a customer from FABO.com  It is a custom Duster AAR stripe kit.

The blue pic is one installed on a customer car.  This was his first time installing a stripe kit and he did a good job.

The green pic is another variation on the same theme.  That pic is actually a mock-up.  I am shipping his stripes out tomorrow.

What do you guys/gals think?  I am trying to carve out a small niche for myself making factory replica/custom stripe kits.  Anyone have any ideas how to drive more business my way?  My website building skills are limited and so far have pretty much relied on c-c.com and FABO for new business.

Gary, You did such a great job on Shelby's stripes. I'm sure they is a market for Neon stripes and such.  See if you can find a forum ?

Gary, those look great! You also need a web page using these autos as models for your stripes. But I hope my truck stripes will be the only one of its kind. :2thumbs:

Thanks, Jackie.  I think I will post some pics of it.  I actually already have a website www.challengergary.com  I've got one page that shows some of my stripe kits I make. Due to Ma Mopar's whole licensing thing, I cannot advertise on my site that I sell repro stripe that use trademarked names/words such as R/T and Hemi, so for the time being I just show them as ones I've installed.  I figure some time in the next month or two, I'll redo my website to act more as a selling site.

Ohio Cuda - no plans on quitting my day job. I'd have to be selling a hundred stripe kits a month in order to do that, not just one or two a week.  I do this to make a little extra income in order to feed my car addiction.  Plus, I really enjoy seeing and hearing the results from my customers.
