« on: August 17, 2008 - 09:08:43 PM »
Now that I have my bezels back what type of polish should I use on them ? Does any body have a good pictures of a bezel with black paint on the edge of it? How is that applied? what type of paint is used? What color?

SEM makes a Trim Black that is a satin and is supposed to adhere well to metal.

My chrome guy, who been in the business for thirty plus years, says not to wax chrome as it removes some of the chrome.  He recommends Windex and a micro fiber rag, I used these on my bumpers and they stayed nice and shiny for ten years.

Tropicalcats,
Who did the re-chrome on those bezels? It looks great to me. I've got the original tail lights on my 70 Challenger, they look plenty tired, I'd like to know what it takes to get them looking NEW again.
Sorry, I'm new to this game, I can't give you any advice on the paint.................................
