Wally,

My friend has a 71 swepty for sale.  Currently has a 69 440 in it.  He would sale it with or without the engine.  He said make an offer.  If you look through my posts I listed it once.  I also listed it on Sweptline.com.
It has no rust with the exception of one hole about two inch's.  Been in Colorado most it's life so very nice.  Let me know what you think, I might have some pics left I will send later.  Just send me your email if interested by PM.  thanks

ok, heres the assignment: Ive been chatting with a fella about his 69 D100, im looking for something decent. It doesnt have to be amazing but i want something that i can work on while i drive it. It wont be my daily driver but id like to be able to take it places, pick up lumber, etc...

I can get an exact address and all and we can PM about it, Id be happy to send you gas money, let me know what the mileage is after we figure out an address if it all works out!  :chatting:

Send me the address for Durand and I will map it out.  Thats less than an hour from me.  Used to play on a pool league in that area for a while!   :grinyes:

Word of advice:

Dont get carried away when your girlfriend offers to buy a truck if you buy the ring.  :walkaway:

Its NOT that easy  :crying:

 :bricks1:

well guys, i think its all good. I basically got carried away and went nuts looking for a truck (not rings) and i think it sort of looked bad. I definitely didnt intend on it being that way. Anyway, it wasnt so much an altomatom (spelling) as it was a "gift on both sides"

See i havent been truck shopping until i just started messing around on Craigslist and found a junker. Anyway, I'll still be slowly looking, just not for a "perfect" truck...

There's a 71 in my local paper today. Says it needs brakes not rings   Is a 71 still the swept style?
